Fernwald (dpa / lhe) - After a fire on New Year's morning, the police have suspected a man of arson.
The fire in and in front of an apartment building in the Annerod district of the Fernwald community in Central Hesse was reported early Friday morning.
The residents were able to escape from the house in time, the fire brigade quickly put out the fire.
The police arrested a 65-year-old as a suspect.
"Due to his mental condition, this man was admitted to a specialist clinic," the officials reported.
