The results of the first round of the presidential election on December 27 in Niger will be announced this Saturday, January 2, 2021, the Independent National Electoral Commission (Céni) announced in a press release.

"The proclamation of the provisional overall results of the legislative and presidential elections is postponed until tomorrow, Saturday January 2, 2020 at 10 a.m. [9 a.m. UT, Editor's note] at the Niamey Convention Center," according to a statement released by the CENI on Friday.
