In recent years, the sport of paddle has become immensely popular in Sweden and arenas are being built on assembly lines.

Padel panorama has taken in well with 23 courses that can be accommodated in the almost 8,000 square meter room.

- Two courses will have stands for the public and the goal is that we will be able to arrange large competitions eventually, says Emil Jungåker, coach and one of three owners.

Want to avoid a boom

He says that after the New Year, the association will launch a major investment to get the now so popular sport, to retain its practitioners and even grow.

- We will invest heavily in our young people.

We want to avoid that paddle is just a boom that stays a few years.

We want to build from the ground up.

But isn't there still a risk that paddle is a trend that will eventually subside?

- Yes, but then it is the best facilities that will remain and we want to be one of them.
