Pinzberg (dpa / lby) - The fire brigade fought for hours against a fire in a silo in Upper Franconia.
150 firefighters tried on Friday to extinguish the flames in the silo with several tons of seeds.
According to the police, a witness discovered the fire in Pinzberg (Forchheim district) in the morning and dialed the emergency number.
Only in the early evening did the emergency services manage to put out the fire.
There are no injuries.
The cause of the fire and the amount of damage were initially unclear.
