Temnitztal (dpa / bb) - In a serious traffic accident in Temnitztal (Ostprignitz-Ruppin district), four people were seriously injured in the evening.
All had to be operated on, as the police announced.
The driver had previously skidded with the vehicle in a curve, hit a power pole and then crashed into a house wall, it was said.
"One person was thrown from the car, three other occupants were trapped and not accessible," said a police spokesman.
Overall, the rescue workers would have needed about an hour to free the occupants from the car.
Three rescue helicopters brought the four seriously injured people to a hospital, where they were operated on.
