The Integrated Transport Center in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, affiliated to the Department of Municipalities and Transport, revealed that the number of vehicle owners who registered electronically in the “Darb” traffic tariff system and completed the creation and activation of their accounts reached about 185,000 users, while about 15,000 companies and establishments took the same procedure.

The Center urged the owners of vehicles registered in the state, individuals and institutions, and who have not yet registered in the system, to create and activate the account.

AppGallery has witnessed an acceleration over the past few days, pointing to the ease of procedures for creating an account, registering vehicles and filling in the balance of the financial portfolio.

The center stated that the value of the vehicle registration fee in the "Darb" system is 100 dirhams per vehicle, of which 50 dirhams devolve to the user as a balance in his account.

He added that the system fees will be calculated through four gates located on the bridges leading to Abu Dhabi city, namely Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Sheikh Khalifa Bridge, Al Maqta Bridge, and Musaffah Bridge, while tariffs are applied at a rate of four dirhams for each time the gates are crossed during peak times from Saturday to Thursday (in the morning period 7: 00-9: 00 and the evening period 5: 00-7: 00), provided that the maximum ceiling for the daily fees on individual vehicles is 16 dirhams per vehicle.

The Integrated Transport Center indicated that no fees will be charged outside peak times, on Fridays and public holidays.

The value of a vehicle registration fee in the "Darb" system is 100 dirhams.
