The Izvestia newspaper informs about this with reference to the Ministry of Energy.
“The departments of project management and support of the ministry's activities, corporate policy and property relations in the fuel and energy sectors, monitoring of payment discipline in the fuel and energy sectors are being abolished,” the message says.
It is also noted that the departments of processing, production and transportation of oil and gas, as well as departments of the coal and peat industry and international cooperation will be united.
The functionality of the abolished departments is distributed among other departments, which are enlarged to the established standards (at least 40 people).
The department clarified that the staffing reduction by 5% is due to vacant posts.
In addition, in the structure of the Ministry of Energy, two posts of Deputy Minister of Energy have been reduced.
Earlier, the Russian government approved the parameters for optimizing the states of the federal authorities.
