04 February 2019 An 18-year-old of Dominican origin was injured by a stray bullet in the leg in the Sanità district in Naples.

The girl was returning home in the company of her boyfriend, both uncensored, riding a scooter.

Around 5 o'clock today, near Vico Santa Maria alla Purità the couple found themselves in the middle of a chase between two mopeds.

According to initial investigations, three gunshots were fired, one of which hit the girl in the left thigh.



Rescued and admitted to the Vecchio Pellegrini hospital, the girl underwent surgery to extract the bullet from the tibia, but her condition is not considered serious.



From the investigations carried out by the carabinieri, who also made use of the images recorded by the video surveillance cameras, it emerged that the girl was involuntarily injured in the pursuit of two scooters that were traveling along vico Santa Maria alla Purità in the opposite direction.

On the first, who was obviously fleeing, there was only one person while on the other moped there were two passengers, one of whom fired a pistol.

At the moment, in addition to the girl admitted to the Vecchio Pellegrini hospital, there are no other wounded medicated by gunshots in the emergency rooms of city hospitals.
