A member of the Supreme Political Council of the Houthi group, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, confirmed in a tweet on his Twitter account that strategic experts can now "say that we have reached a stage of balance of deterrence."
This came a day after the bombings rocked Aden International Airport with the arrival of the new government plane coming from Saudi Arabia, where the government accused the Houthis of being behind the bombings, but they denied this, stressing that the accusations are baseless.
Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi said that the balance of deterrence "is a victory achieved by the Yemeni heroes of the military and security establishment."
He added, "This is what millions of Yemeni people can be proud of, who are steadfast, honest, and generous sacrifices."
He continued, "The world should know that the price of patience is victory, and the price of arrogance is refraction with His permission."
On Wednesday, dozens of people were killed and injured, as a result of 3 explosions targeting Aden International Airport, in conjunction with the arrival of a plane carrying members of the new Yemeni government to the airport runway.
A member of the Houthi’s political bureau, Muhammad al-Bukhaiti, explained that what happened was the settling of scores as a result of the ongoing conflict between the “mercenaries of aggression,” indicating that the group’s accusation of a “broken cylinder.”
In a remarkable development, the head of the intelligence agency in the Houthi group said, "We are watching Israel's movements, and we monitor its provocations and its planned acts of aggression."
For his part, Hani bin Brik, deputy head of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, said that it is "in haste to accuse the Houthis of the Aden bombings."
Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi directed the formation of a committee headed by the Minister of Interior to investigate the airport bombings.
On Thursday, the new Yemeni government held its first meeting in the city of Aden, the day after the attack on the city's airport, in conjunction with the bomb investigation committee holding its first meeting.
Yemeni Prime Minister Maeen Abdul Malik said that preliminary indications and investigations indicate that the Houthis were behind targeting the airport, stressing that the attack was by guided missiles, and that Iranian experts contributed to preparing it.
Earlier Thursday, Health Minister Qassem Buhaibh announced - in a tweet on Twitter - that the death toll from the Aden airport attack had risen to 25, and at least 110 were wounded.
