Emmanuel Macron promised Thursday during his wishes to the French that he "will not let, for bad reasons, an unjustified slowness settle" in the vaccination campaign against the Covid-19 which has just started to account -drops in France.

Criticized by those who consider the vaccination too slow, especially compared to Germany, he also assured that he would not let "anyone play with safety and the right conditions, supervised by our scientists and our doctors, in which vaccination must be done ".

The Head of State expressed his "hope" for 2021 with the vaccine but also with the revival which "will allow us, from the spring, to invent a stronger economy".

The French economy must be "at the same time creating jobs, more innovative, more respectful of the climate and biodiversity and more united", added the Head of State in his televised address.

The president also mentioned the exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union on December 31 at midnight.

Despite the Brexit, the United Kingdom remains "our friend and our ally", he assured, explaining that "this choice to leave Europe, this Brexit, was the child of European unease and many of lies and false promises ".
