Leipzig (dpa / sn) - Four lottery players achieved a million profit in Saxony in 2020.
That was less than the year before.
In 2019, seven tipsters in the Free State became lottery millionaires.
The lucky ones of 2020 were successful three times in the classic "6 out of 49" lottery and once in the lucky spiral, as announced by the Saxon Lotto Society.
A syndicate from Dresden won the highest profit in 2020, which came to around 15 million euros at the beginning of December.
That was the second highest win in the history of Sachsenlotto, said spokeswoman Kerstin Waschke.
Only one player was ever higher: In December 2018, 15.5 million euros went to the Ore Mountains.
All winners of higher sums also noticed their luck this year. There are currently no large major profits pending, said Waschke. In principle, lottery players have three years to register their winnings with the lottery company.
