During the night until Thursday, several people have testified about rocket launches in Uppsala.

Firecrackers have been heard and rockets fired in residential areas, despite the fact that a permit from the police is required to use fireworks.

- People have called about fireworks every day.

We have had patrols out all night and last night, but no one should have been injured or arrested in connection with the fireworks, says Linda Winge, RLC officer at police region Mitt.

Several residents worried

A film clip that circulated on social media during the night until Thursday shows how rockets are fired in a residential area in Sävja.

Several in the area heard the bangs and alerted the police.

- It is worrying that fireworks are being fired near houses due to the risk of injury and fire.

When people say no, they are threatened and called a lot of unpleasant things, says Anna-Maria who lives in Sävja.

According to Anna-Maria, bangs were also heard near nursing homes.

- I'm not afraid of the bangs or the sounds myself.

The children ask what it is and find it uncomfortable.

Where it slammed lay a couple of nursing homes.

The distance between nursing homes and fireworks is not respected either, says Anna-Maria.

The clip above shows how close to the homes the rockets are fired.
