Chemnitz (AP) - Olaf Renn leaves the regional soccer division Chemnitzer FC after 16 years.
The club announced on Wednesday.
Renn, who was responsible for the CFC professionals as a physiotherapist for the past eight years, had asked the club to terminate his contract in order to be able to devote more time to family and personal matters.
Renn played 198 competitive games for Chemnitzer FC between 1990 and 1996 and from 2001 to 2002.
In 2012 he took over the work as a physiotherapist.
