Argentina on Wednesday issued an "emergency" authorization for the vaccine against the coronavirus developed by the British laboratory AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford, a few hours after the green light granted by the United Kingdom, announced the health authorities .

The vaccine, for which Argentina has entered into a manufacturing agreement, has been entered in the “register of vaccines of emergency health interest” for a period of one year, the National Medicines Administration said.
