Meißen (dpa / sn) - A 56-year-old man blinded a policewoman in Meißen with a laser pointer and thus injured the woman's eye.
The police officer and a colleague were called to the 56-year-old's apartment early Tuesday morning because of a noise complaint, the police said.
On site, the officials ensured peace.
On the way back to the police car, however, the troublemaker beamed directly at the 25-year-old policewoman with a laser pointer from his window.
The man blinded the woman's eye.
The policewoman then had to receive medical treatment.
The man is now being investigated for dangerous bodily harm.
