MoH warns of a medical device that promotes inaccurate information

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection warned against a medical device, because it was circulating incorrect information.

It called on health facilities and health care practitioners in the private health sector to verify the safety of devices before using them, and to educate patients about them.

The ministry explained in a circular to the private medical sector that a company that manufactured a device dedicated to artificial respiration for critical care reported that some devices with specific numbers (included in the circular) do not contain a built-in air pressure sensor, and they were marketed with incorrect instructions for use (that they contain a pressure sensor) Joey, the height doesn't need to be changed manually.

And the Ministry called for verifying the numbers of the devices, informing their users about the urgent notification of the safety of medical products, and contacting the authorized agent, so that he can manually enter the correct data before use, and replace the usage instructions for the medical device.

The Ministry requested that in the event of side effects, it be reported via its own means of communication, noting that the product is not registered with its drug administration.
