Zingst (dpa / mv) - A gray seal has apparently rested for several hours on the Baltic Sea beach of Zingst (Vorpommern-Rügen district).
A walker discovered the approximately 60 centimeter seal on Tuesday morning, as the police announced.
Employees of the public order office then cordoned off the area extensively.
A few hours later, they discovered that the young animal had withdrawn into the water and probably only used the beach to rest.
The seal was apparently unharmed.
