Munich (dpa / lby) - The basketball players of FC Bayern Munich want to continue their strong performances in the Euroleague against top team FC Barcelona.
"It is not the first star ensemble that we play against," said winger Paul Zipser on Tuesday.
"We know what we can do."
The other Euroleague teams would take Munich seriously.
"Barcelona takes us seriously," assured Zipser before the home game on Wednesday (7.30pm).
Andrea Trinchieri's team have won ten of their 16 international appearances, while Barcelona have one more victory under their belt.
"They can all throw," said Zipser.
But it is not the first team that “has so much talent”.
Trinchieri praised the team of coach Sarunas Jasikevicius: "Great players, great coach, a power."
It's about accepting the challenge and not having too much respect for the team around NBA returnees Nikola Mirotic.
