A man in his 40s was
seriously injured on
Monday
after receiving at least six stab wounds
inside a portal in the Arganzuela district, as sources from the Higher Police Headquarters have confirmed to Efe.
The events took place minutes before seven in the afternoon at number 19 Calle de Cáceres, right next to the elevator of the building, on the ground floor of the building.
The victim, of South American origin, according to the same sources, had multiple incised wounds spread over almost the entire body,
the most serious ones on the abdomen and right leg
and from which he had lost a lot of blood.
After being intubated by health workers from the Madrid Medical Emergency Service (Summa-112), the wounded man was transferred to the 12 de Octubre hospital in a very serious condition, according to Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid.
According to witnesses, after the attack,
a person who is being wanted tonight by the police has fled the scene.
The National Police did not know the motive for the attack at the moment.
