According to RBC, the deputy head of the FAS Andrei Tsarikovsky informed the Ministry of Industry and Trade about this.

The material says that the department proposes to introduce a regressive system of export duties on all products - from raw materials to finished goods.

So, if the export duty on scrap is introduced in the amount of 15% of the cost (but not less than $ 49 per tonne or € 45 per tonne), then steel billets (raw materials for the production of reinforcement) will be subject to a duty of 13% (at least $ 73 per tonne) , and the reinforcement itself - 12% (at least $ 78 per ton).

On December 21, it was reported that Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin instructed the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to check information about a sharp rise in prices for rebar used in housing construction.

Earlier, the Izvestia newspaper, referring to the draft order of the Ministry of Construction, wrote that, according to the department's calculations, the average market price per square meter of housing in 2021 will be 49.17 thousand rubles.
