According to a compilation report on the WeChat public account of Italy's "Xinhua United Times", Italian media recently reported that a young Chinese girl wandering in Prato found relatives living in Bologna through a local Chinese community. This wandering Chinese girl was first discovered in the summer.
At first, she slept in the small square in front of the bank. Later, she chose to settle in the tunnel. All her belongings were only a few cardboards and a quilt.
The girl’s experience was reported by the media, and volunteers from the Civil Defence Department of the Prato Gendarmerie Association contacted the Italian Chinese Association to try to help the girl.
After inquiring, I learned that the girl did not have an identity document, only that she was from Padua and did not know anyone in Prato.
And even though she knows Italian, she may not communicate very smoothly because of mental illness.
In the end, with the unremitting efforts of the volunteers, the brother of the Chinese girl who lives in Bologna was found.
He drove to Prato and took the girl, who is currently living with her brother in their home in Bologna.
