In Burkina Faso, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré was invested this Monday, December 28, after his election on November 22.
A ceremony attended by many African heads of state and representatives of international institutions.
The Burkinabè president has pledged to open a national consultation within the framework of national reconciliation, which must not avoid blood crimes and economic crimes, and to fight against insecurity and corruption.

All dressed in white, the right hand raised, President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré took the oath in these terms: "
I swear, in front of the Burkinabè people and on my honor, to preserve, to respect, to make respect and to defend the Constitution and laws;
to do everything possible to guarantee justice to all the inhabitants of Burkina Faso
”.
For Kassoum Kambou, the President of the Constitutional Council, the terms of this oath should be the compass for Roch Marc Christian Kaboré during this second term.
“
The oath you have just taken makes perfect sense.
It is therefore up to you to work to get the Burkinabè out of the current sad pages of our history, of our country, in terms of security, health and society,
”he declared.
A dozen heads of African states present
National reconciliation, security, justice and the fight against corruption… President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré is committed to taking into account the concerns of his compatriots.
“
I intend to achieve the following essential objectives
: winning the bet on the security and stability of our country and ensuring the return of the displaced;
strengthen democracy and reconcile the Burkinabè;
consolidate peace and social cohesion.
All efforts will be made to clear the pending cases and guarantee fair justice for all in our country
”.
Around ten African heads of state, several diplomats and presidents of international institutions took part in this inauguration ceremony of President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré.
