December 27, 2020A 39-year-old man was arrested by the carabinieri on charges of sexual assault and kidnapping, for having tied and gagged and then raped a 43-year-old woman from Busto Arsizio (Varese), last night in her home of Gorla Minore (Varese), where she had been attracted with the offer of a job.
The victim, who went to that apartment because she knew by sight the owner who had offered her a job as a maid a few hours earlier, was saved by the carabinieri alerted this morning by a friend of his.
"Come on, I'll make you work, come and we'll talk about it", the man would have written, and even if it was Christmas evening she would have decided to accept because she needed that job.
Nothing in those messages, found on the woman's cell phone by the investigators coordinated by the prosecutor of Busto Arsizio (Varese) Francesca Parola, could ever have made her think of something dangerous, but when the 43-year-old showed up at her house, the man she kidnapped and raped.
After agreeing to participate in the interview, the woman notified a friend by providing the address and name of the potential employer.
