Several fees will be increased
The municipality of Jönköping has not reviewed parking fees for a long time and wants to steer clear of a behavioral change in terms of car habits.
- This is about sustainable travel, one way to steer towards it is through access to parking spaces and fees for them, says Thomas Bergholm, head of administration at the Technical Office in Jönköping.
Fees for almost all parking spaces in Jönköping municipality will be increased.
Fees for incorrect parking are also increased, the penalty fee of SEK 400 is increased to SEK 600.
