On Saturday, the first vaccine doses were delivered in the country.

They were then sent to the different regions of the country.

In the Uppsala Region, on Sunday, one of Sweden's first vaccinations against the virus was distributed at the University Hospital.

- I hope that everyone shows up and gets vaccinated - and that they understand that it is a deadly disease, says Bruno Mörk.

Several media were in place to perpetuate the vaccination, which meant that it was, to say the least, a different experience for the main character himself.

- It barely felt, says Bruno after receiving the syringe.

Head of department about the vaccine: "Did not think it would go so fast"

200 doses

The Uppsala region has received 200 doses.

They are now distributed to patients in priority groups who are cared for at the University Hospital.

- The first vaccinations will be done in the near future as the vaccine is thawed and must be used as soon as possible, says Jessica Elgenstierna, press manager at the Uppsala Region.

According to TT's information, Saturday's delivery of the vaccine will be enough for around 4,900 Swedes.

A major delivery of vaccines to the region is expected this week.

Then 3,000 doses arrive.

The first to be vaccinated are people who live in special housing and staff at these.
