Japanese government has announced that it will ban foreigners from entering the country from tomorrow to the end of January next year.

Accordingly, the issuance of new visas for foreigners will be suspended in Japan from tomorrow.

Foreigners who have already obtained a visa are only allowed to enter the country if they have not visited the UK and South Africa within 14 days prior to application for entry permit.

However, the Kyodo News Agency reported that companies and students from 10 countries including Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan, which have agreed to ease special travel restrictions, will continue to enter the country.

The Japanese government's ban on entry from foreigners is due to the continuing fluctuations of COVID-19 infections in Britain and South Africa.

In Japan alone, 7 people have been confirmed to have been infected with the mutation from the UK so far, and in Italy, 6 additional infections have been confirmed in Naples, and a total of 10 people have been confirmed as mutation.

Following France, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Ireland, Singapore, Australia, Spain and Sweden, there are successive cases of corona19 confirmed from the UK.

Member States of the European Union will be vaccinated against the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and Bio&Tech starting today.

The UK will also be vaccinated against the AstraZeneca vaccine from the 4th of next month, Telegraph reported.
