She explained that the school has the right to conduct placement tests to provide educational and psychological support, and not for the purpose of acceptance or rejection.

In detail, families of students of determination emphasized that the daily education they receive remotely is not commensurate with their special cases, expressing their concern about the decline in the degree of their integration into society.

On the other hand, the Department of Education and Knowledge (Manual of School Reopening Policies) stated that private schools must adhere to not discriminating or differentiating between students of determination and others, and called upon them, when necessary, to take preventive measures and precautionary measures, and to provide the necessary resources to support their return to school plan. The department clarified that “in the event that a student belonging to a group of people of determination continues his education remotely, due to the seriousness of his situation, or because of the school’s inability to provide appropriate measures to ensure his safety, the school must provide him with educational materials necessary for his scientific, psychological and behavioral development.”

She also stressed the provision of the necessary support for students and parents to obtain educational resources according to their requirements and levels.

She indicated that schools are obligated to allocate a group of employees who provide additional support to students of determination, to limit their mixing with other students, and it may be necessary to divide the teacher's assistants into groups, to reduce their contact with teachers and other students.

5 conditions

The Department of Education and Knowledge affirmed that registering children of determination in nurseries requires the fulfillment of five conditions, which are:

■ The nursery maintains a complete record of the child that contains medical reports.

■ Submit a periodic report to his guardian about his scientific and social developments.

■ Providing staff and educators in nursery schools with adequate knowledge of the basic principles of special education.

■ implementing the recommendations of the specialists.

■ That the language used in the nursery is the mother tongue of the child, and the language of communication with him at home.

Inclusive education

The Department of Education and Knowledge revealed that there are plans to develop inclusive education policies and programs designed to empower students of determination, and to provide comprehensive educational paths that suit their requirements, to help them reach their full potential, noting that its efforts in this field include a model for inclusive education, a highly efficient transition process and alternative educational paths. In all academic levels.

The department emphasized that inclusive education will be based on the principle that every person has advantages that enable him to contribute to building his society, and that people of determination have the same right to educational and growth opportunities.
