Storkow (dpa / bb) - A car ran over a pedestrian on a country road near Storkow and was fatally injured.
On Saturday afternoon, the 21-year-old man was walking with two others on the road between Storkow (Mark) and the Bugk district.
The three men went correctly against the direction of travel, as the police announced.
However, when overtaking, a 49-year-old driver probably overlooked the pedestrians and caught the young man.
The 21-year-old died at the accident site of his injuries.
The road in the Oder-Spree district was completely closed for several hours.
