The Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police Lieutenant-General Abdullah Khalifa Al-Marri said: “The Events Insurance Committee has completed its preparations for the New Year 2021, as it held a number of coordination meetings, during which a common and unified security plan was developed, each institution according to its competence, to secure tourist areas, commercial centers and traffic Taking into account the application of precautionary measures ».

The Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority, Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, confirmed that the RTA has prepared well to manage the traffic movement for the New Year’s event according to a tight traffic plan, specifically in the Burj Khalifa area, through the Unified Control Center for Transportation and Roads, and the Dubai Center. Bin Uday indicated that during the second axis, 200 buses will be operated to transport visitors after the event ends, from the event area out of the area, specifically to metro stations to facilitate the exit process, noting that these buses will be free to the public within the specified routes.
Bin Uday said: “The third axis included determining taxi parking sites in the stands of the Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department and the Eid prayer hall in Mankhool and Al Wasl Club, while the fourth axis includes the operation of the Red Line, starting at 5 am Thursday morning for a period of 44 hours, and the Green Line will also be operational.
