Los Angeles (AP) - NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers have reported back with a victory in the North American basketball league after their opening defeat against city rivals Clippers.
Dennis Schröder triumphed again in the 138: 115 win against the Dallas Mavericks with 18 points and six assists.
The Mavericks with Maximilian Kleber also lost their second game of the season.
Anthony Davis with 28 points and LeBron James and Montrezl Harrell with 22 points each were even more accurate than Schröder.
Schröder, who moved from the Oklahoma City Thunder to Los Angeles before the season, was again in the starting line-up.

Before half-time, the Lakers were leading double digits for the first time.
In the third quarter, the home side extended the lead to 99:85, and in the final section they made the decision early on.
Luka Doncic convinced the Mavericks with 27 points.
Kleber came off the bench and put on five points and five rebounds.
Daniel Theis was allowed to play from the start, but clearly lost out with the Boston Celtics with 95: 123 at home against the Brooklyn Nets.
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were unstoppable with the guests for the second time in a row.
Durant scored 29 points and Irving 37.
The Clippers also clinched their second win of the season.
They beat the Denver Nuggets, where Isaiah Hartenstein got six points in ten minutes, 121: 108.
In addition, runner-up Miami Heat beat the New Orleans Pelicans 111-98, and the Milwaukee Bucks triumphed 138-99 against the Golden State Warriors despite a poor performance by their star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
