Hamburg (dpa / lno) - After only four days off, the second division footballers of FC St. Pauli resumed training on Saturday.
Coach Timo Schultz started the preparation for the restart of the season on January 3rd at SpVgg Greuther Fürth with the players of the table penultimate.
At the beginning of training, Schultz, head of sport Andreas Bornemann and defender Sebastian Ohlsson received a collection of texts that were written by St. Pauli fans as motivation for the relegation battle.
The “Magischer FC” blog had previously launched an appeal.
«You have an entire stadium behind you - and if not in person, then in a figurative sense!
We believe in you! ”Said the cover letter to the texts.
