UNT was the first to tell about the initiative.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Eva felt she wanted to do something.

With a long-standing background in, among other things, the café industry, she knew what she could contribute.

It started with her baking herself - but it was not enough in the long run.

Then she contacted several local bakeries.

- They have coffee over every day, says Eva Källander.

Get help from his son

Many bakeries hooked up and this spring Eva was up every day to deliver coffee - many times with her son Petter.

- He works at Akademiska and knows the hospital inside and out.

I would never have been able to do this without his help, says Eva.

During the autumn, she has continued to deliver - several times a week.

She focuses in particular on providing coffee bread and goodies to wards that handle covid patients, including the central intensive care unit, the ambulance, the infection ward and the emergency room.

- The joy and gratitude I meet means that I can not stop.

I do not want to stop, says Eva.
