The beginning of the end ?

Less than 24 hours before the symbolic launch of the vaccination campaign in France in two establishments, the nursing homes are ready to vaccinate their residents, who have priority to receive the Pfizer / BioNTech remedy against the coronavirus.

As of next week, the vaccine will be rolled out in around 20 senior citizens' facilities next week, government sources said on Saturday.

A first step that could well "signal the beginning of the end of the epidemic", according to Antoine Flahault, director of the Institute of Global Health at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva.
