In India, Uttar Pradesh passed a law at the end of November against the “jihad of love”, a conspiracy theory according to which Muslims would seduce Hindu women to better convert them to Islam.
Since then, this state has been the scene of the most sordid arrests and various facts.

Saquib was returning home with a friend, after a simple birthday party in a village in Uttar Pradesh.
But on the way, this 18-year-old Muslim was beaten up by a group of residents and then taken to the police station.

According to the police, Saquib is guilty of "love jihad".
He is said to have planned to marry his Hindu friend to convert her to Islam.
The young girl however explained that he was only a friend.
His father himself said he never lodged a complaint.
Forcibly separated
Since
Uttar Pradesh criminalized “love jihad”
last November, this incomprehensible news item is unfortunately not an isolated case in this state of 200 million inhabitants located in northern India.
Two weeks ago, a pregnant Hindu woman was forcibly separated from her husband by the police.
Placed in a "refuge", she says she was tortured there before having a miscarriage.
However, she claims to have married her husband for love.
No case of "love jihad" has ever been found in India, which did not prevent this law from being passed.
This Saturday, December 26, Madhya Pradesh, where there are 70 million inhabitants, approved a similar law.
And other states are preparing to do the same.
