In a collaboration with Swedish Radio P4 Stockholm, SVT Nyheter Stockholm presents six candidates for the award as Stockholmer of the Year.
People from all over Stockholm County are counted.
The nominees have been produced by you readers / viewers / listeners and the editors together, and they have been chosen because they have done well during this difficult year.

We spoke with the three nominees SVT Nyheter Stockholm met during the year and they tell us what they think about the nomination, the past year and hopes for the year before.

At a time when the elderly are being urged to stay at home, Jeanette Höglund and the organization she founded have continued to distribute food to homeless pensioners and poor pensioners.
They have also opened Sweden's first leisure center for pensioners.

When everyone talks about the environment, Fredrik Johansson and the organization Rena Mälaren do something about it, directly and firmly.
They show up and pick up tons of rubbish and toxic batteries on the bottom of Lake Mälaren.
In just one day, they fill several containers.

They are doctors, nurses, assistant nurses and many other professions.
What they have in common is that they have worn around the clock all year round against a deadly, previously unknown virus wearing heavy protective clothing.
All care staff in the county are included in this nomination.
• Aysha Jones, Black lives matter
Aysha Jones started Black lives matter in Sweden and engaged thousands of people in the fight for blacks' rights.

The international year was marked not only by the pandemic but also by the Black lives matter demonstrations, which became a worldwide movement.
Aysha Jones in Stockholm founded the Swedish part and in June almost 70,000 people took part in a digital demonstration outside the US embassy in Gärdet.

• Gustav Damm, spreads security
Gustav Damm has for three years tried to spread security in his immediate area and in the autumn he saved the life of a girl.

Since the now 18-year-old Gustav Damm was 15, he has tried to spread security in the immediate area of Täby and Vallentuna.
In November, Gustav and a colleague saved the life of a young girl whom they found very drunk and under the influence of drugs.
