St. Petersburg named the number of patients with COVID-19 on outpatient treatment

“As of December 25, about 70,000 patients with mild forms are undergoing outpatient treatment.

Of these, 29,000 people need drug therapy, ”RIA Novosti reports.

It is noted that "the rest of the drugs are not required, as they carry the disease in a mild form or asymptomatic."

According to the data of the headquarters as of December 25, in Russia over the past day, 27 397 patients recovered from coronavirus infection, the total number of those recovered from COVID-19 reached 2,398 254. 

In October, the deputy of the State Duma of the III-V convocations, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honored Scientist of Russia Sergei Kolesnikov, in an interview with FAN, recalled the features of COVID-19.
