The documentary Greta depicts how Greta Thunberg goes from being a lone activist to a world issue that speaks to the highest authorities.

But she also receives mockery, hatred and threats.

In public, she has been called manipulated, hysterical and mentally ill, among other things.

In December 2019, a man was convicted of threatening to kill her.

Went first aid training

The documentary shows how her father, Svante Thunberg, is undergoing first aid training due to fear that something will happen to her.

- We see that this problem will only grow, unfortunately, he says to the leader of the training.

Greta Thunberg is aware of her parents' concerns.

- They are very worried and scared.

They say I prefer not to go out, but I'm honestly not that scared.

I'm more afraid of what would happen if I did not do this.

The documentary Greta premiered in Sweden on November 20, now it is also available on SVT Play and it will be broadcast on SVT1 on Sunday, January 3 at 20.00.
