Erfurt (dpa / th) - The corona pandemic still has Thuringia firmly under control.

On Friday the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported 320.6 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within one week (seven-day incidence).

The day before it was 327.9.

Only in Saxony (441.3) is the value even higher.

Nationwide, this incidence was 188.8 on Friday.

Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow (left) was concerned about Christmas in a message on Twitter: “The numbers are far too high.

I urge you to comply with the AHA rules.

According to the State Chancellery of Thuringia, 36,265 detected infections with the coronavirus were registered in the Free State by Christmas Eve.

1348 cases were added within 24 hours.

So far, 791 people have died from or with the corona virus in Thuringia.
