Berlin (dpa) - The Bundesliga match between German basketball champions Alba Berlin and Syntainics MBC will be postponed at short notice.
As the Basketball Bundesliga announced on Friday, the game cannot take place on Saturday because a member from the Alba team tested positive for the corona virus.
The person was immediately isolated.
There was also an unclear contact situation.
All other players and team members of the Berliner were tested negative.
Double winner Alba applied for the game to be postponed, which was granted by the BBL.
The rescheduling will be informed in due course, it said.
The Berliners were already suffering from the corona virus two months ago.
At that time, six professionals tested positive and several games were postponed.
