Kravtsov noted that the coming year will be "difficult" for schoolchildren who take the exam.

The minister noted that in connection with the measures taken against the background of the epidemiological situation, changes were made to the rules for passing the exams.

“For graduates who are going to enter universities and will take the USE for this purpose, in order to get a certificate, it is enough to pass the USE in the Russian language for a satisfactory result.

The USE in mathematics of the basic level will not be held in 2021, ”the department explained.

It is noted that the state final exam for 11-graders will be held at the end of May, after which the main period of the exam is scheduled.

Ninth grade students will have to pass the State Final Attestation in Russian Language and Mathematics from May 24 to May 28.

The early period has been canceled.

For ninth graders who do not pass exams during the specified period, an additional period is provided in September.

The ministry noted that these decisions were made "in the interests of the health and safety of all participants and organizers of the exams."

"During the exams, all the measures of epidemiological safety recommended by Rospotrebnadzor will also be applied, which have successfully proven themselves in the exam in 2020 and made it possible to prevent a new surge in morbidity after exams," the press service of the Ministry of Education quoted Anzor Muzaev, head of Rosobrnadzor, as saying.

Distance learning in Russia

Earlier, the Ministry of Education and Science expressed the hope that schools and universities will soon return to the traditional format of education.

The head of the department Valery Falkov spoke about this.

“I would not want to think about it now, but there is a feeling that it will be soon enough.

I hope that in 2021 we will return to the usual rhythm of life, and we will take all the best that we have accumulated in this difficult time with us, ”RIA Novosti quotes him.

He cited data according to which 64% of all Russian students are now studying remotely.

We are talking about about 3 million people.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin also commented on the situation with distance education in the capital.

He said that the city authorities intend to return full-time education in all metropolitan schools as soon as possible, when the decline in the incidence of coronavirus begins.

“Face-to-face training cannot replace anything.

Therefore, at the earliest opportunity, as soon as we see that the epidemic has subsided, we will, of course, return to normal full-time education, "Sobyanin quotes TASS, who made an annual report in the Moscow City Duma on December 18.

Recall that in October, the Moscow authorities decided that students in grades 6-11 will go to the remote mode of education, while students in grades 1-5 will continue to go to school in the traditional format.

Subsequently, this decision was extended several times.

At the same time, on December 25, the head of the Ministry of Education Sergei Kravtsov admitted that after the winter holidays, schoolchildren in grades 6-11 in Moscow will be able to return to full-time education.

Along with this, the situation with distance education in Russia, introduced against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, was commented on by Vladimir Putin.

He assured that such a system will not replace traditional education and is a temporary measure.

“About the quality of education.

Of course, an online system, such a format, will never replace direct personal contact between a student (student) and a teacher.

In any case, this will not happen for a very long time, ”Putin said.

At the same time, he noted that the system under which online education will be used both at school and at the university will continue to develop.
