24 December 2020 Another massacre of migrants. At least 20 people have died in a shipwreck off the coast of Sfax, Tunisia. This was announced by a Coast Guard officer, who recovered 20 bodies of migrants who dreamed of reaching Italy and rescued five people in serious condition. Confirmations come from the Spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Mohamed Zekri.
The victims are mostly from sub-Saharan Africa, as a spokesman for the Coast Guard in Sfax, Ali al-Ayari, confirmed to the DPA agency. On board the boat there were at least 40 migrants and searches for the missing are continuing.
