Since church services with hundreds of crowded visitors could accelerate the spread of the corona virus, some congregations have come up with creative offers.

"As unusual as these times are, the two leading clergymen wanted to organize this service," announced the regional church.

There are also Christmas Eve services in churches, but the number of visitors is limited.
People have to keep their distance, wear mouth and nose protection and are not allowed to sing.
Some congregations are holding more church services than usual, some have planned open-air events, and others have canceled all church services to prevent the virus from spreading.

The first broadcasts a Christmas service from the St. Marien Church in Winsen an der Luhe in the Harburg district.
The motto is “How do we get to the crib this year?”.
With this, the congregation also wants to remember the wise men who were looking for the newborn child.
In the service, children will present the Christmas story, people from the community will tell what thoughts they have when they come to the crib in this special year.
