VSMPO-Avisma assessed the impact of US sanctions on their activities

VSMPO-Avisma reported that "the change in US legislation came into force earlier in 2020".

It is noted that "in the case of using American technologies, the consent of the US authorities is required, but at VSMPO-Avisma, only Russian technologies are used in titanium production, and mainly these are our own developments, so there is no need to agree on anything."

“Thus, the restrictions will not affect the production process,” RIA Novosti quotes a company representative.

Earlier, the US Department of Commerce published a list of more than 100 Russian and Chinese companies that will be subject to export restrictions.
