The Arab Journalism Awards were awarded to 11 winners from various daily and weekly newspapers, printed and electronic periodicals, and media institutions, whose works found their way to the honoring platform out of nearly 6000 works covering various arts and fields of journalism.

The award’s virtual ceremony witnessed the honoring of Muhammad Amin al-Masri from the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram, winner of the “Political Journalism” award for a work titled “Syria between Caesar’s Ambitions and Osmanly’s Dreams.”

The "Economic Journalism" category was won by the Emirati newspaper, Al Khaleej, for its work entitled "What does the private sector want?"

In its 19th session, in the category of "Investigative Journalism," the award was honored by journalist Jamal Jawhar, from Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, for a work entitled "Irregular immigrants ... the paper of fighters in the Tripoli war."

Journalist Muhammad Mansour, from the Emirati newspaper "Al-Vision", won the award for the "Journalistic Dialogue" category for a work published under the title "Scientists Who Draw the Features of the World in 2050."

Journalist Tariq Al-Taher won the "Cultural Journalism" award from the Egyptian magazine "Akhbar Al-Adab", for a topic entitled "Naguib Mahfouz ... the strict censor."

In the "Sports Journalism" category, a work published under the title "The Asian Cup was born dead in Hong Kong and returns to life from the Emirates" by Moataz Al Shami from the UAE newspaper, Al Ittihad, won.
