Sälenfjällen now attracts tens of thousands of ski tourists from all over northern Europe because most facilities in the Alps are closed and foreign tourists cannot go to the Norwegian ski resorts.

The ski resorts in Sälen have implemented many measures to prevent the infection from spreading, but there are still long queues in many places.

At the system company in Sälen's village, for example, there has been a queue far out in the car park throughout the week.

- I do not understand why they do not buy their alcohol before they go here.

There are far too many people both here and in the shops.

There should be more controls, says Karin Bäck who lives in the village of Sälen.
