Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - The fire brigade rescued several people from a smoky building in Dortmund.
A fire in an apartment building was reported to the emergency services on Tuesday evening, as the fire brigade announced on Wednesday night.
There were therefore two strollers on fire.
The smoke had drawn into the apartments so that the fire brigade had to get several residents out of the building with a turntable ladder.
A total of 13 people were assessed by the rescue service.
But nobody was injured.
The apartments are no longer habitable.
A short time later, another stroller burned in another apartment building 300 meters away.
A resident was taken to a hospital with suspected smoke inhalation.
According to the fire brigade, all other house residents could return to their apartments.
The cause of the fire and the amount of damage were initially unclear in both cases, as a police spokesman said.
