Melsungen (dpa) - Because of the corona cases at the handball Bundesliga club MT Melsungen, the game of North Hesse on Christmas Day at the Eulen Ludwigshafen was canceled.

The club announced this on Wednesday.

At Melsungen, the national players Silvio Heinevetter and Timo Kastening as well as Yves Kunkel had tested positive, all players had then gone into domestic isolation.

The game against TVB Stuttgart on Tuesday had already been postponed.

New dates have not yet been set.

According to MT, two handball players are excluded from domestic isolation: Finn Lemke and Arjan Haenen, who formed antibodies after surviving a corona infection, and Domagoj Pavlovic, who had no contact with the team during the period in question due to his foot injury.
