"As an aperitif we will make a pate mousse with livers and a reduced sauce. Then, first, a fish soup something from Donostia to which we are going to put crustaceans, prawns and clams. Second, a pularda: breasts cooked at low temperature , grilled and wrapped in a very rich grape sauce with truffle. For dessert, a chocolate cake.

We are going to try to make a dinner that excites you

".

The speaker is chef

Nino Redruello

(La Ancha group).

He and his team have designed and cooked this series of dishes for the families that have been most affected by the difficulties arising from the coronavirus pandemic.

"There comes a point in life when you want more and more to help because you can't stop seeing that there is a need," he tells EL MUNDO.

Its menu will be distributed between today and tomorrow,

Christmas Eve

, in centers of the Fundación Banco de Alimentos de Madrid.

Redruello is part of the group of 30 renowned chefs brought together by

Carbonell

, a Spanish olive oil company, under the solidarity initiative

'Much more than food

'.

Each of them has created a different menu for the night of the 23rd and 24th, but in the end a menu that could well appear on the menu of any of their restaurants.

That is, by the way, the idea.

"It will not be made with less love or products of less quality,"

says Redruello.

Among the other chefs who have decided to be part of this solidarity movement are names such as the two Michelin stars Paco Roncero (Paco Roncero Restaurant),

Pepa Muñoz

(El Qüenco de Pepa),

Javier Goya

(TriCiclo Restaurant),

David Marcano

(Marcano) or

Juanjo López

(La Tasquita de Enfrente).

All, according to Redruello, with the same objective of giving a "rich" dinner made with "love, enthusiasm and dedication": "I love seeing the hospitality industry, my friends,

helping society

."

The food will be delivered between today and tomorrow at the distribution centers of the Fundación Banco de Alimentos de Madrid, so that each family can collect it safely before 8:00 p.m.

The meeting points will be located, among others, in the areas of

Villa de Vallecas

,

Usera

,

Villaverde

,

Latina

,

San Blas-Canillejas

or

Chamartín

.

Carbonell foresees that "more than a thousand people" will be able to eat this December 24, the appointed date, thanks to the initiative.
