Anthony Pouch, the director of the Allergy and Infectious Disease Research Institute under the National Institutes of Health, who is considered the highest authority in responding to Corona 19 in the United States, was publicly received the vaccine.
Director Pouch received a vaccine developed by Modena along with Alix Aza, Minister of Health and Welfare, at the National Institutes of Health Medical Center in Maryland on the 22nd.
The vaccination event was broadcast in real time through the Internet.
"What we're seeing is the culmination of years of research," said Pouch. "I feel extremely confident about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine."
He also said that vaccination would protect the country, and that the global pandemic would be ended through vaccination.
Pouch, who will be celebrating his 80th birthday on the 24th, has announced that he will be given an injection publicly to ensure public confidence in the vaccination.
