  In terms of studying abroad, Cheng Jiacai pointed out that the Study Abroad Service Center undertakes the task of dispatching nationally sent overseas students. In the past five years, it has handled about 80,000 publicly sent overseas students.

Over the past five years, 22 "Study in China" education exhibitions have been held in 22 cities in more than 10 countries, and a total of 460 Chinese institutions have participated in the exhibition.

The "Study in China" education exhibition has effectively promoted my country's education opening up and the development of the cause of studying in China.

Through holding activities such as essay contests for foreign students in China, organize foreign students in China to tell Chinese stories and spread the good voice of China through their own personal experience of studying in China.

Since 2017, four consecutive "My Beauty Encounters with China" essay contest for international students in China has been held, involving students from more than 100 countries.

  In terms of improving the quality of services, Cheng Jiacai said that it will make full use of the "Internet + Study Abroad Service" to provide students studying abroad with a convenient and efficient way of doing things.

The Study Abroad Service Center has continued to deepen the reform of "delegation, control, and service". In 2019, the "Internet + Study Abroad Service" government service platform will be fully established to allow "more data to run away, and overseas students not to run away."

The platform realizes the full online processing of four types of service services such as studying abroad, returning from studying abroad, foreign (overseas) degree certification and studying abroad, and the service of studying abroad has entered a new era of digital and information services.
